Marcello Pisu is an experiential artist based in Lisbon, Portugal, with over two decades of artistic direction, event curation, and community enrichment.

He completed his education in performing arts management in Milan from a joint program offered by Bocconi, and Teatro alla Scala, respectively the leading business school and opera theater in Italy. He started his professional journey in New York City, dedicating three years to marketing and public relations within the cultural industry at the Lincoln Center, the world's foremost performing arts center, and the Sundance Film Festival, the largest independent film festival in the United States. He contributed his expertise for two years to the renowned Italian performing arts festival, The Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto. Furthermore, he served as an editor for arts & innovation at the Italian financial newspaper "Il Sole 24 Ore."

Marcello Pisu further broadened his horizons in the digital arena by collaborating with Google as a creative content evaluator for two years and pursuing advanced studies in Digital Strategy at NYU before relocating to Berlin. In the vibrant German capital, he led for five years the digital strategy and supported the curation of Falling Walls, that became the most prestigious multidisciplinary science conference in the country. He then supported the Austrian TBA21 Academy in conceptualizing and launching their digital platform and artist residency around environmental art.

His following work as artistic director emphasizes life amplification, creating regenerative moments and spaces that bring people together meaningfully.

His projects span the globe and feature notable collaborations with artists such as Ai Weiwei and Olafur Eliasson, institutions such as Strelka Institute Moscow, Faena Arts Center Buenos Aires, and Soho House West Hollywood, the community MAXA camp at Burning Man, the social space Supra in Mexico City, and the cultural hubs Monopol in Berlin and The Loom in Oakland.
